Zoo Atlanta!

Kian and Jude's first trip to the zoo was GREAT! They loved seeing all the animals, and both boys were well behaved the entire trip. The zoo is the perfect size for little toddlers, and Kian loved walking from exhibit to exhibit. We were a little bummed that there weren't any chimps (curious george is a house favorite), but the pandas totally made up for it.

Petting zoo...

Kian wasn't 100% convinced that these animals were friendly, but he really wanted to get as close as possible. Mom was thankful that he really wasn't into petting the animals since she is quite convinced that these petting zoos are germ farms--not from the animals but rather from the kiddos that tend to wipe their noses and pet the animals.

Lunch time

It's a rarity that Jude actually has any cheerios left in his tray; he usually shoves fistfuls of them into his mouth.

Lovin' the Carousel

Every time the carousel went around, Kian would scream, "Hi Jude." This was Jude's response...

Best buddies

Kian and Ty took a moment to express their feelings...

Kian and Jude had a great time with their buddy Ty. Thanks Ty for a great day at the zoo!

It gets hot in Georgia

So, i'm sure Dad won't like these pics, but they were too funny not to post. The weather in Georgia goes from hot to cold in a 24 hour period. This particular day was hot, and Kian's long hair was all sweaty, so Mom's only option was a ponytail--or two. Kian thought that they were hilarious, so i had to take a pic. Don't worry Dad; Kian got his hair cut last week, and there will be no more ponytails---unless he decides to grow a mullet---one just like his Daddy had in 7th grade :) We love and miss you Dad!!!
