Funny!

This video is funny for two reasons...First, you can hear Kian say "Ciao" as he waves to the neighbors, and Second, Tim hits himself in the head with the ball...heeheehee!

Our little German footballer

Everyone sits at the table now!

Now that Jude is eating solids, he gets to sit at the table!
Getting ready for his first bite of rice cereal...
He looks so big in the high chair!
First bite....

and SUCCESS!

Guten Tag!

Sashay, and Turn, and BLUESTEEL.

After the family trip to Germany, Kian decided to wear his lederhosen. He seemed pretty proud of himself in his German garb.

Our little Jude-bug.

Train ride...

Here is Kian enjoying the train ride...We were busy watching him to make sure he didn't get sick from the motion---all was well in the end.

Garmisch!

We had a great time in Garmisch, despite all the rain. The car ride up there was a bit hairy. Kian vomited twice on the ride as we were winding through the mountains. He apparently takes after his mother and has a severe case of motion sickness. We went home a different way, and he did fine. Below are some pictures from our trip...Enjoy!

Water babies!

We loved the pool!

Our trip to the top of the zugspitz

Mom looks a little hesitant in the picture. Perhaps it's because she is about to take an hour long train ride to the top of a very high mountain, or perhaps it's because she just realized that this train ride cost a small fortune. So here is the story...
The Fuhrmans decided to take a trip to the top of the zugspitz, but little did they know that this was not a cheap excursion. When Tim bought the tickets, the original plan was to take the cable car both up and down the mountain---a 10 minute ride versus an hour + ride. She thought that she heard the man at the counter tell Tim that his total was 137, but she thought that surely the man meant thirteen dollars and SEVEN cents. Um no. Thus, in an attempt to make the trip worth the $137, we decided to take the train up. Yes, that lovely Euro exchange rate strikes again.

Up. up, up we go!

What we thought was going to be a bad idea actually turned out well. Kian loved the train ride, and he managed to sit in his seat (well, for the most part) for the entire ride.

Finally at the top of the zugspitz!

Our expensive view is about to become cloudy!

The view from the top was amazing, but unfortunately, we only enjoyed it for about 5 minutes because some clouds rolled in and totally covered the mountain.

On top of the mountain

Where's mommy??
Jude decided to take a little snooze. He apparently wasn't that impressed with the view.
Taller than the mountains!

The scary view from the top

Some brave Germans decide to climb down---note there are no guard rails.
On the way down---we opted for the fast way down in the cable car---it was fast, but a little scary.

Our room

This is the beautiful view from our room in Garmisch...
Both father and son demonstrate the Fuhrman stare while watching TV.
This is our room at Edelweiss. We loved the resort! Too bad we are leaving Europe soon because it is an extremely family friendly hotel/resort. Hopefully we can get back there again one day.

My friends and neighbors

This is what i'll miss about Italy the most...Giusippina and Egidio. I eat lunch with them almost everyday, and for some reason, i can sit on Egidio's lap for ages and not move---something that rarely happens.

A tooth!

We just discovered last week that Jude has his first tooth! It's hard to imagine that he is already big enough for teeth! We will try to get some pictures of the tooth (and Jude) up soon.
Ciao, Ciao!
