Jude turns one!

The party scene

Eri and Kian were thrilled with all the balloons.

It's a Smith invasion! Our neighbors, The Smiths, came by to help us celebrate.

The birthday boy stuffs his face with some pizza.

Kian needs a haircut...

Yes, we know it, and we are going to do something about he. Both Kian and Jude will be getting haircuts this week. Keep checking for the new 'dos.

The SMITHS!

For the past week, the Fuhrmans have had the best house guests ever---THE SMITHS! It was so great to be reunited with our friends from Italia, and it was so great to see Kian and Eri pick right up where they left off. We finally got to meet the OHHHH SOOO ADORABLE LEONA. She might be the sweetest baby ever---she barely makes a peep and is just perfectly content with all the chaos going on around her. Kian was incredibly smitten with Miss Leo!
We were so sad when the Smiths had to leave. The house is quiet, and Kian and Jude miss their buddies. Kian and Eri definitely have an amazing connection that started in the womb. We have determined that these two will be great friends forever, and I'm quite sure there will be a lot of great adventures for these two in the future. We miss the Smiths, but hope to see them soon. All of the photos that are posted below and above were taken by Ange. She did an amazing job taking photos of the past week, and she was kind enough to give us copies. I'm sure she will have some good ones posted on her site, but i just want everyone to know that these photos are hers---she took some great ones! Thanks Ange for the visit and for the great photos. We miss you guys!

Routines...together.

Everyday they ate lunch together...

And did story time together.

REUNITED!

Kian was so happy to see his friend Eri again. These two have a very special connection, and to see the two of them together again is a great thing.

Voting time

In an attempt to do two things at once, i incorporated voting into my running route. I thought this was a great idea until the double jogger would not fit through the door. That meant I had to try to vote while juggling two squirming kids. It wasn't pretty. Kian tried to sneak in a vote, but I managed to catch him before he messed with the touch screen.

Jude is excited about voting...

Jude was in a great mood after voting, so we decided to take some pics of him sporting his FAB voting sticker.

Halloween

Kian LOVED his costume...
Jude didn't mind his, but people kept calling him a chicken even though he was OBVIOUSLY a rooster.
All snuggled up for the walk around the neighborhood

Zoo Atlanta!

Kian and Jude's first trip to the zoo was GREAT! They loved seeing all the animals, and both boys were well behaved the entire trip. The zoo is the perfect size for little toddlers, and Kian loved walking from exhibit to exhibit. We were a little bummed that there weren't any chimps (curious george is a house favorite), but the pandas totally made up for it.

Gorillas!
